Flea & Moth Pest Control

Fleas and moths can be difficult to get rid of, with DIY and over the counter remedies often leaving live larvae behind to reestablish the infestation. Professional services are the only real way to fight these pests and win every time.

Eliminate your Flea or Moth Problem

Fleas are parasites, and the biggest issue with their presence in your home or business is the impact of their bites. Although the act of being bitten isn't painful, the result is an itchy or painful welt. Fleas can live up to 100 days without feeding, so it can be extremely difficult to tackle an infestation without professional assistance.

Moth larvae feed on animal fibres, destroying coats, clothes, curtains, rugs and even carpets. As the larvae can live between one month and two years before turning into an adult moth, an infestation can be extremely damaging. Most home remedies for moths are either ineffective, no longer obtainable, or potentially damaging themselves, so professional support is the best way to handle the problem.

Effective and discreet pest control service

Fleas can cause considerable nuisance, and are difficult to eliminate. If you have tried vacuuming the carpets, washing the pets and are keeping everything clean but you are still finding it difficult to get rid of your flea infestation, JPS can offer an effective solution.

We provide a targeted and tailored treatment service to solve your flea infestation problem quickly and cost-effectively. We also offer an on-going pro-active contract service to help prevent a re-infestation, preventing recurrences affecting your property or business.

Advice following a flea control treatment

Once you have had a flea treatment in your property, please note the following advice and information to ensure the treatment is as effective and successful as possible.

The treatment will leave an odourless and invisible layer of insecticide on the floors of your property - this is deliberate due to the powerful residual effect. The insecticide will continue to work for some time, as long as it is left undisturbed. While adult fleas are killed within a few days, developing eggs will still hatch after the treatment and fleas may reappear after 10-14 days. This is quite normal and is the reason for the residual insecticide, which will kill the emerging fleas.

Avoid vacuuming, sweeping, and washing the floors for at least 3 weeks after the flea control treatment, to allow the insecticide to eliminate any newly hatched fleas. If you find you still have fleas three weeks after a treatment, please contact us and we will arrange further investigation. Fleas discovered after 4 weeks are likely to be a second infestation. Don't forget, if you have a cat or a dog, you should make sure you treat them for fleas, following your veterinarian’s advice, to avoid reinfesting the property.

Just want to thank you JPS for the prompt service and professional attitude you showed when recently you undertook the task of thoroughly cleaning and controlling the infestation of cockroaches at my mother's property.
You made what seemed like an impossible task seem easy.

Tony, Plaistow

Just wanted to say a big 'Thank You' for the great job you did for us in removing the wasp nest from our garden which was causing us a lot of stress. Everything is perfect now. No wasps to be seen. Would highly recommend you.

Lisa and Tony, Romford, Essex

We are a mansion block based in Central London for some time had an ongoing issue with roosting pigeons. We asked JPS for their advice and help. Various options were discussed with the merits for all explained and we eventually opted for bird netting with various gates to give us access on our fire escapes. It has worked a treat and solved our problems 100%. We found their team to be professional and courteous and we would highly recommend them.
